How much does it cost?
Nothing, for now. In the near future you will be able to send digital flowers for a fee. Other paid services and monthly fees are also possible.
Is there a Matriland app?
No, and currently there are no plans for one.
Why don't you ask for the email address?
Usually, the email addresses you use for subscribing to various sites will, sooner or later, stolen or not, be bought and used for mass-mailing. We don't want to support, even without intention, this type of business.
Why don't you ask for the exact birth date?
In our opinion, the less of your personal information can be found on the internet, the better. We try to balance your right to privacy and the right of your potential partners to know your age. That is why filling out the year of birth is mandatory, but you can leave blank the month and (approximate) day of birth.
Will any message sent through Contact page get an answer?
No, we can't promise that. If we don't answer in a week, that means we'll never do. We regret any inconvenience.
How can I get a private answer if you don't have my email address?
If you are a registered user, you will get a message from us. If not, once your message is sent, a 6 digit code will be displayed. Write down that code. You'll have to use it in the following days on the
Private answers page to see if there is an answer or not.
You only have 2 options for sex (F, M), but for me gender and sex are different. How anonymous is my activity on the site?
We give a great deal of attention to your anonymity while using the site. You have complete control over who and what sees from what you do: visiting other profiles, opening and deleting messages, marking profiles as Favorites etc. The default settings correspond to maximum degree of anonymity. On the "Settings" page you can modify these options at any time.
Why does the date of my last activity on the site become visible after 3 months of inactivity?
The date of your last activity is visible to other users only if you want to and change the appropriate setting. However, those who want to contact you should know if you were not active for more than 3 months.
